DontWorryBHappy Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I've been on OKcupid for a few weeks. I had an account several times but just kept deleting it. Over the past several days I've had some conversations that went nowhere, ones where the guys just stopped responding, messages from guys I wasn't attracted to, and rejected messages that I sent to guys I was attracted to. A couple weeks ago I messaged this adorable guy and got no response, so forgot about it. Well today he responded, which either means the last girl didn't work out or he legitimately didn't log in for a couple weeks. Doesn't matter though because we started talking and have a really similar communication style and sense of humor. we talked for several hours and it was like nothing...He asked me to dinner tomorrow night. So now I'm just hoping I like him as much in person. 7:30 tomorrow (technically today). Can't believe OLD got me a date I'm actually excited about.. lol.

Somehow I think he's expecting to pay and all, but what if he asked for separate checks? should I be offended? I'm so awkward about the paying thing man!

Author DontWorryBHappy Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 right now I'm actually questioning if its still happening because we agreed on getting together about 40 minutes from now, but last night we hadn't settled on a place to go eat. he told me he would think of something, so I'm just waiting on the details.. I'm thinking he will come through, I guess I'm just a little nervous that he won't, because I don't know him enough to judge.. I guess ill find out soon.

He got held up late at work and texted me as soon as he got off (about 15 minutes before the time we had decided to meet). We found out that we live so close that we are practically neighbors so he went to his place to shower real quick then picked me up. He let me choose the restaurant (Italian...awesome food!) . The conversation flowed really well and we laughed so much ! He commented that he loved my sense of humor and really liked me. After dinner the check arrived and I pulled out my wallet, but he said "I got it". When we left the restaurant he wanted to extend the date further so he asked if I would like to get gelato with him. Then after that he asked if I wanted to watch a few shows at his place. I agreed and we sat side by side for a little while before he asked to hold my hand. Then a few minutes later he asked if he could kiss me. Sometimes that can be cheesy and all, but the way he asked was so sweet and made me melt to be honest. So after that we were just holding hands and watching shows and kissing every so often. He told me that he liked me a lot and that I was pretty, which was very sweet. He offered for me to stay but I declined, and he then offered to take me back home. Before I left he told me that he had a lot of fun, and suggested to see me on Saturday if I didn't have other plans. It was very clear by all of his actions that he likes me a lot. He was cute, and a gentleman for sure, and I definitely will see him again..
