edwardo47 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 My STBXW is taking her things and leaving. Her new man is still ongoing as far as I know. I have "checked out" realising that she is a liar and a cheat. Emotions are all over the place but I know that the break away is in my best interest. She is so cool, calm and collected. Moving all her things out. It does not make sense to me in an 11 year relationship which 9 years have been in marriage. I was a great provider. Took care of the household like I was supposed too. She never had to worry about "the family" even though we had some financial hardship. I was not a bad man. We argued but she inflates the arguments. Don't want her back and I am happy she is leaving but I am having trouble with the fact that I failed in marriage. I stood true to my vows even when 20-30 year old women were hitting on me the last 5 years. What is with the women today. Have children. See a femi-nazi counselor, get on Prozac drugs and destroy the family. I don't get it!

That says all you need to know. And Adam didn't get off hook. He let Eve be deceived and actually followed her!
carhill Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 You can 'fail' in marriage and still 'succeed' in life. Feelings of failure are customary when grieving the death of a formerly loving union. Best wishes on your journey.
