I don't know if I'm super jaded and/or gurded but I've been dating a woman for a little over a month now, we've been intimate recently and have talked since... I don't fall for women easily and have only crushed on a few women in my life (Never got anywhere). The woman I dated a year ago got her hooks into me buyt he 3rd date and I didn't know why I liked her so much that fast?? But it ended after that and I was destroyed buy it even though it was a short courtship. I don't have that instasprung feeling about the woman I'm dating but something tells me I COULD fall for her if things progress. I think I have some feelings toward her as I do hope she responds to my texts and start to worry if it's a little longer than usual when she responds. Whereas if I'm neutral or less about a woman I wouldn't worry like that. I think were compatible in some very important areas!!! We come from similar backgrounds and seem to have the same self awarness as to what we need and want. I'm not needy but I think I do need a little more affection from than the average joe due to my childhood and I THINK she realizes this. I think I met someone I could really grow with if I can get her guard down... So what do yall think?? Can you know or feel like you can fall for someone even if you aren't at the moment??

No real definite answer for your question. Its going to depend on the person and how well the two people connect (is there chemistry) You can get a general idea about what type of person they are and I suppose that may give you an idea ahead of time.

I'm not a "chemistry" person if you will. Looking back at my dating exp. I have learned to try not look through rose colored lenses. The lady I talked about where I go really hurt after only 3 dates is a good example. I "felt" for her really quick as she somehow triggered an emtional attrction in me and looking back it was for the better that things didn't progress. She never initiated contact and never asked me anything about me and never initated physical things. TBS I know it was only 3 dates so I wasn't expecting the physical but was expecting her to initiate contact a little bit. The woman I'm dating now initiates contact, physical stuff too. She remembers EVERY THING I say!!! We both beleive in communication. She's a very nice girl and I am physically attracted to her as well. So what I'm getting at is that while there are tons of butterflies yet I could see myself eventually falling for her. That's a good thing though because I don't think you should fall for someone instanly and like I said, it's only happened to me a few times...

That's a good thing though because I don't think you should fall for someone instanly and like I said, it's only happened to me a few times... Sometimes you can't control your feelings when falling for someone quickly but my motto has always been to take your time and really get to know the person before investing your feelings into that person.
