I just tried it on one of the websites I'm on, since I blew it with that one guy I opted to add a little about what I really am looking for in hopes of attracting that. I said I"m willing to date if you keep it clean but ideally I would like something long term. I'm tired of guys thinking I'll sleep with them on the first date, and hoping that deters some of them. Anyway does updating your profile help in any way attract new people? I kind of dished all the old ones and am hoping for some new catches. I'm feeling more ready for the dating scene now that I know what I'm getting into.
edgygirl Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Yes it can change the type of people who contact you... but with me, no matter what I have written in my profile, that I am NOT looking for casual, that I am looking for MARRIAGE or whatnot... when there's chemistry, the guys always try their luck to get me in bed. Ugh.
