How were they raised? Did they have to work or just play?

It would be hard but I could say it's possible....

I used to be a lazy teenager, but now I'm a wife, mother, and work 45-50 hours per week and not afraid to get myself dirty (by working hard at work hehe)

some work, some play. i guess he tends to err on the side of laziness when now its time to get a job.......he will lay around or play pool half of the day and look for a job the other half. this is where how i was raised differs from his. life is so interesting.

When my husband looks for jobs (not for a long while thank God) he goes out like a normal work day 8-5 and hits everywhere. The ones he wants the most he shows up in the morning, to show them that he can get up early.

After 5 he comes home. If he doesn't find anything that day he goes out 8-5 again the next.

He usually has gotten his jobs within a week by doing this. He's been with his job now for a long time but that's how he got it, and they didn't even have an ad in the paper or anything.

Also when he goes for a job, he acts like that job is what he's wanted to do forever. ie. tile jobs, he says "I've always wanted to work with tile and would really like to learn" He did get that job after he got the heating and cooling job he has now i.e. "I've always wanted to learn about heating and cooling... Yes, I know it sounds kind of dumb but that's how he's gotten them, pretty quick too.
