Is it usually faster for dumpers vs dumpees?

I haven't jumped into a relationship since being dumped 2 months ago, and really have no plans on getting into one until maybe I build a bigger group of friends at college and live the single life that I used to enjoy.

 

At least in my situation, the dumper jumped into a relationship right away. Where as I have yet to do anything. There's no real time table because everyone is different.

Dumper here and I'm not near ready almost 2 months post breakup, 6+ year relationship. Ex started dating a couple weeks ago. I think every case is different, I doubt there is a real trend.

There is no time table, our ex's are either ready to date new people or not. Either way, they no longer want to date us. I'm ready the next day with everyone I've broken up with.

I'm almost 7 months post break up and I'm still not dating. I'm pretty much over my ex, but I just have no desire to be in a relationship right now, I'm kind of enjoying the single life. Each case is different. If someone were to blow my pants off and rock my world, I may consider dating him but I doubt anything like that is happening any time soon! lol

Everyone is different..being the Dumper a few weeks is enough for me...being the dumpee, that is different, a month to a few months depending on how hard the break up hit me

I'm at 5 months, been ready for probably 2 months now. Not looking that much but if the right girl comes along i'll go for it. Getting to know one now, but no expectations and not sure if I want something just casual or not as she does not interest me for anything serious.

it's been 6 months today since i ended an 18 month relationship. I'm still not really over it tbh so i don't feel ready to date.
