A cry for attention or nothing?

Just got home from class, the class that my ex is in. I noticed her staring over at me every now and then. After class was over, I rolled out as quickly as I could but couldn't help but hear her singing (yes singing) and talking extra loud to someone about how happy she is. The girl found it strange, she said "you sound way too happy, it is finals week."

 

Is she just trying to get under my skin by making herself seem really happy? Or am I reading into something that isn't there? It's been 2 months since the BU so I'd think that any little jabs at me would be over by now. I've done nothing to try to get under her skin, besides maybe avoiding eye contact but that's for my own sake and has nothing to do with her.

Yeah, good rule of thumb. If someone has to ANNOUNCE that they're happy is usually a sign that they're not. That was just a jab at you. Nothing more and a little immature.

 

BUT! not your problem anymore. And you handled the situation well. It probably burned her ass knowing that she couldn't get a rise out of you. Your silence speaks volumes. Always remember that.

That actually makes sense, even when she was with me she gave off the impression she was the happiest girl alive but she had so many problems in her head/at home that you'd never know it. I figured I played it well, I've done surprisingly well this past month of NC and can't wait until this week is over and I won't have to see her anymore.

 

I also plan on blocking her number once I'm ready to for my own sanity. It's the only means of communication that has been left open and I feel like she'll come calling one day during the winter break when she's bored and has no one to talk to. She'll call and complain about her new boy problems and how she's having panic attacks and is suicidal. (yes she's called me about both of those things before and apparently called her ex before me about it too lol)
