After of course getting messaged by a bunch of old dudes, creeps, and "currently separateds", I was hit up by a few that held some promise. I had two dates set up for the weekend. One I was a little hesitant about because he was a very hot firefighter with some shirtless pics. Not really my style, so I suggested we talk on the phone first. Yep - douche. So I bailed on that one. The second dude I met last night and we had a great time. He was cute in an unassuming way, very fit, wicket smart and made me laugh. After paying the tab he walked me home (since I live around the corner from the restaurant we met at), and put his arm around my shoulders a few times. Sweet. When we got to the door I planted one on him and said good night. haha He texted today a few times, called me sunshine and said he had a really great time and asked me out again for this week. Just a cheesy update. Keep ya posted. 1

He was incredibly hot, probably even more so than dude I met last night, on a conventional level. His profile was funny, he was educated and he probably makes great money. But, something just seemed off to me which is why I suggested a phone conversation, that confirmed my suspicions. Guys with amazing bodies who post shirtless pics on the 'net making kissy faces screams douchebag. And yeah, I'll be the first to admit I'm picky. For the record, my last relationship was four years, with an engagement and wedding planned that ended last summer when my ex pulled the rug out from underneath me. So just because I'm single in my 30's, doesn't mean that I've wasted my 20's looking for Mr Perfect or some fantasy of a man that doesn't exist. Sometimes sh*t just happens and you find yourself starting over when you least expected.

Not really sure what this has to do with me or my thread. You could start (yet) another thread on here blaming women for your lack of success in dating because we only like the hottest dudes. Looks are certainly not the most important thing when I consider whether or not someone is boyfriend material. And yes I reserve the right to reject someone even if he's insanely hot.

Author Drseussgrrl Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 sure, start a thread that will get zero replies from females. so very funny how females claim looks don't matter and accuse males that can't get anything going for just hot females. almost every female whos rejected me was overweight/obese. just don't expect sympathy from us guys when yet another very fit or hot male cheats on you. all you females go for the same few guys which inflates their egos to the size of the moon. Um, did you miss the part of my first post where I DIDN'T go out with hottest dude? And if you're so insecure maybe you should start hitting the gym. Not sure why my thread is turning into yet another poor me thread. Jesus.
