So... is this how long term relationships work?

So I've been doing a lot of reading up on this website. Mostly on the posts that are about "what first attracted you" or "how long have you been married" etc. And from what I've noticed that all of these people who talk about their success stories share, is that for the most part they were attracted by looks. The thing that bothers me with this is that, I wouldn't exactly say I'm a stud, and to be honest, I'm starting to think that only really attractive people end up in successful relationships/marriages. What is involved in keeping someone attracted to you, is it only looks? Or is there more to this.

Unattractive people find people too, it is all about finding someone you share that internal connection with that draws both of you to each other....it isn't an easy thing to find...if it was, most people would date one or two people.

Everyone is different. Some people value looks highly, and others don't care.

And even "looks" is subjective. What is attractive to me may be hideous to someone else, and vice versa.

The key to keeping someone attracted to you is getting to know her, learning what her priorities are in a relationship, and doing your best to meet her needs and wants in the relationship.
