denxnis Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I wouldn't win the greatest boyfriend award that I am sure, but after my ex of 6 years and I broke up I went above and beyond to try and make things work. She did not have the courage to break-up with me, instead I had to do it after she began acting very different/strange and asking to go to bars late at night with her roommates (girls). I even told her I would give her space, all I asked was that she not see someone else for a little while. Well, this other guy's car is in front of her house just a few days after our breakup and has been there multiple times after 10pm (I stopped checking after the 2 weeks into breakup). Now my ex, 1 month after breakup 4 days after NC, texts me "hello" and puts her IM status as "ughh " . I haven't responded but how can someone be such a heartless bitch? Seriously does she not realize that ****ing your coworker multiple times right after coming out of a 6 year relationship is messed up? I mean damn, she was extremely sweet during our relationship and I could never imagine her, or anyone else for that matter, to be so heartless and selfish. My question is, how do I cope with this hate/anger? Never in my life have I even thought of hitting a woman, but my ex takes the cake. If I honestly saw her get hit by a car I would probably laugh... I seriously hate this person.

I wish I had the balls to think that way and do that stuff you are talking about, but I know the only way to get back at them is to become even better than you were before you met. By default, you will get a better girl and the ex cant have you anymore:) They will probably be XL by that time anyway

My ex lost weight, but in a unhealthy way. Before she dated me, she was a social smoker, then when she dated me, she stopped smoking, now the latest I've heard is she's a pack a day smoker. She loves to smoke the reefer as well, and eat A LOT of junk food. There also isn't a weeknight that goes by where she doesn't get blackout drunk. Me, I'm making myself better. Take this approach. They will make themselves worse, you make yourself better, and in a year or so time, you'll be WAY out of her league. This is probably when she'll call you wanting you back. I'd respond as if I'm a guy that's way out of her league. Flattered, but no thank you. I've got better girls waiting for me.
