bleeding, not sure if its bc i missed 3 r 4 birth control pills n a row ( help) !

ive been on birth control for bout over an year, and everything got out of wack. what happen was, i got sick july 29

 

which was a thursday, i may have missed a pill that day but i know i missed the pill i was suspose to take the next

 

day friday and then saturday i forgot im not sure i dont think i took it sunday either so i probly missed 3pills. i started

 

my pack of pills the week b4 i got sick so i was off of my period i wasnt suspose to get it on The sunday i missed

 

that pill, and i have been bleeding from july 31 and now which is aug.11th. i wasnt suspose to get my nxt period till

 

nxt week or the mid of othe next. im so worried im not sure what is going on? when i got n the hospital they

 

told me i had an bacterial infection from my ear that was causing major miragrines . and they gave me sum pain pills

 

that mention on the lable may affect birth control , but the sunday i started the nxt day or 2 i started takin my pills

 

again from where i left off and now i just stoped takin em , i dont think that helped , so maybe the pain pills i took

 

may affected my birthcontrol or maybe im bleedin bc i missed 3 or 4 pills n a row? the birth control i have been takin

 

is called "Organon" . i called n a prescribsion and got a different kind that is the generic kind for orto tryclen (

 

how ever u spell it). and i am not sure if i should go ahead and taked it when i am still bleeding.

 

when i started bleeding it was light and now this wk its been heavy a lil. i just am so confused and dont know

 

what is going on i need some advice ! thank you

Why don't you call your doctor? Or call the pharmacist where you get your prescriptions filled? I'm sure they would be able to give you better advice.

It was a little hard to follow your post, but my experience may be able to help you. I am on orthotricylcen and sometimes if I miss even one pill, I get my period early. It is not as heavy as normal until I am done with my pills for the month. Then I get my normal period and it ends in 4 or 5 days. I am actually currently experiencing this. I went home overnight on Saturday (I am in college and have an apartment near school) and I forgot to bring my pills with. It was only the end of my first week of this pack of pills, but I didn't take it until almost 24 hours after I should have. On monday, I got my "period." I plan on just continuing to take my pills as normal, so this means I will have my light period for two weeks until my pills are complete, and then I should have a normal 4 or 5 day one after that. It will really suck having my period for 3 weeks, but I don't want to screw up the schedule by going off the pills to get my period over with.

well i have been off my pills for a couple of days and im still on my period should i just get back on them even though ive been on my period for bout a week and its still continuing. So do u think if i just started a new pack of pills it would end soon or be lighter?

Stick to your normal routine. Do not take the pills you missed, but finish out the pack excluding those you missed. Then wait a week (you will probably still have a period at this time) and start your new 21 day (or 28 day) pack. Set a watch or something to remind you to take pills, even when you are ill. Contact your doctor before altering your schedule (i.e. skipping/starting pills out of order). If the bleeding continues for more than a couple weeks or is really heavy see your doctor immediately!
