He told me that he thinking of me and "likes" me but is now leaving for a overseas program for 3 weeks. (he's a doctor), what am I suppose to do just wait?

he's really busy and i can't stop thinking about him, i'm annoyed that i've spent much of my time pining over him. wish i could get my mind off him.
