93TheHitStick Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Honest answers please. I wont get mad. Basically im 17 and have had boobs my entire life. I am chubby but not fat. I used to be heavier so thats why I have boobs. They are like almost c cups I think idk for sure. The thing is im also really tall. I like to think im handsome. I get a lot of compliments on my smile/the way I dress. I am also more athletic then most guys because my height makes me faster/stronger. And im clean cut/well dressed. Kind of a metro sexual when it comes to clothing/hygeine but im also really manly lol. I have a girlfriend now. But its my first girlfriend ever. I tried to hide my boobs at first. But one day she like ripped my shirt off and told me she doesnt care she loves me. But I feel like they still turn her off because she never tries to take my shirt off or rub my chest during sex. Anyway would my boobs totally turn you off. I sometimes see girls staring at me. And my girlfriend says a few of her cheerleading friends have crushes on me. They have even gone as far as to yell cat calls when I was on my way to football practice. But I cant really see any other girl crushing on me since my chest is such a turn off.
fortyninethousand322 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 If it bothers you just do some push ups, maybe some dumbell flies. If you're not doing any other workout routine do like 500 push ups and 5 sets of 10 on the flies. See where that takes you. Add more as you get stronger. That should help tone some things up a bit.
suladas Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I've got a bit of extra weight so yea i've got some small moobs. Not overly self conscious about it, ex use to rip off my shirt all the time and loved playing with my chest hair so she didn't mind them at all Confidence is huge, and the thing is a lot of women don't mind a bit of extra weight on guys. But at your age I know I was more worried about it then now. I have no problem being shirtless anywhere, it doesn't bother me. Depends what you consider moobs to, MOST guys have them unless your stomach is flat, you have small ones. I could see it being a issue if they were bigger then the girls you were with though.
Under The Radar Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Honestly, you seem to have answered your own question. You have a girlfriend who thinks you're great and half the cheerleading squat wants to jump your bones . I think the biggest problem is how you percieve yourself, not how others view you. Everyone in their teens wants to be accepted for who they are and insecurities are generally rampant. I wouldn't be surprised if the captain of the cheerleading squad thinks she unattractive to the the guys SHE'S interested in. From your post, it seems like you are hygienic and dress well (something a lot of teenagers aren't always on top of). If I could make another suggestion it would be to invest some time in a strength training/nutritional regimen. You could definitely fine tune a program specifically designed to minimize any "problem areas" on your physique while maximizing your strengths. There is a section on LoveShack designated to Physical Fitness and Health Improvements. 1
ImperfectionisBeauty Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Ok honestly, if they aren't like pecs then I don't think I would date a guy with them. But you are on the football team, you are obviously athletic, and you have a gf so just be happy I'm sure you're fine. If they bother you a ton tape them down.
FitChick Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 If a doctor diagnoses you with gynecomastia, perhaps your parents' insurance would pay for the reduction surgery.
somedude81 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 "could you ever be attracted to a guy with breasts? " Only if he was thin and they were big.
Mrlonelyone Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 If it bothers you just do some push ups, maybe some dumbell flies. All push ups will do is give him firmer perkier more uplifted breast. Seriously that's how some women hold off gravity a bit longer. To the OP: Plenty of male to female transgender women have straight women as girlfriends and wives. If someone can change sex and still get that, then your gynecomastia isn't a big deal.
mortensorchid Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 You could do some push ups or life weights to reduce them, or at least lift them up a bit so that they aren't so noticable. If that doesn't do it, then you know it must be genetic. With that in mind, plastic surgery is an option. The most popular plastic surgery for men is breast reduction (no really, it is). But if your gf likes you as you are, then there's no worries about it.
