surfer67 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 When I cuddle or sit close to this guy whose basically my boyfriend, were not official, he will sometimes kiss my head, forehead and when we drive or in bed hell kiss my hand. Do they have different meaning, conscious or subconscious, for guys?
tman666 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 He's probably hoping that one of these days when he goes in to kiss your forehead that you'll just sort of move your head up and go for a full on kiss... Either that or you've got some stank breath.
naviis Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Means your face/hand lotion smells nice. Some guys are more affectionate than others, you can safely assume he's comfortable with you, but I wouldn't put any particular meaning behind it.
carhill Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 (edited) Do they have different meaning, conscious or subconscious, for guys? For men who practice it consistently, such are signs of polite affection. If '67' has any relevance to your age, like a birthdate, presume that the man knows perfectly well how to passionately kiss a woman. If you're in high school, he may be inexperienced. Back before I began to have sexual relations with women, I tended to be more of a hand/cheek/forehead kisser. Now that stuff is relegated to female friends. If you're curious as to whether he 'likes' you or not, time will tell. If he's consistently seeking out your presence and attention and is proactively interested in you and your life, it's highly likely he does 'like' you. The 'telling' will be whether your and his 'likes' are compatible. Good luck. Edited December 4, 2012 by a LoveShack.org Moderator
mysteryscape Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Sounds like he's very affectionate and respectful toward you, including in a relatively non-sexual way -- not just interested in tongue-twisting or getting laid.
Harradin Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I only kiss girls on the forehead because I read somewhere that women really liked it, my ex told me she loved it when I kissed her on the forehead. I tended to show it as affection if I'm totally comfortable with them!
zebracolors Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Going to agree with Mysteryscape, If Im fortunate to meet a man who would do this, I would take it simply as a gesture of affection.

Do they have different meaning, conscious or subconscious, for guys? To me and when it has happened to me it has been in a relationship, where a guy has known it isnt appropriate to kiss me fully.....yet I think it shows respect and considering you say in bed.....I would assume it is more than friendship but hasn't progressed.......It is a conscious choice not to kiss passionately it isn't subconscious......it is a form of affection i feel for more than friends.......as is cuddling guy "friends" or guys cuddling a female.....but... Why dont you ask the guy what it means to him.....it does mean different things to different people ....I think its a very close personal space thing as is lying on a bed with a guy.....who isnt family..To me it denotes intimacy or wanting to show more than friendship emotions without....being full on...so a slow move..deb

Cutiepie1976 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Not a guy, sorry! My ex used to do this when we cuddled on the couch. Generally he'd go on to share some of his innermost thoughts, something significant about his history, or to tell me how much I meant to him, or as things progressed, how much he loved me and how special I was to him. Kissing me on the mouth, on the other hand, signified friskiness and a desire to get lucky. One was more bonding, the other was more carnal in nature.
