Met a girl from Europe early this year through volunteer work, worked with her briefly about once a week and got to know each other a bit. We had instant chemistry and always got along great, flirting and laughing with each other. She's here about 8 months at a time. She went home for the summer and when she left we decided to keep in touch and continue along with our relationship outside of volunteer work. I guess you could say I had a crush on her.

When she came back this fall she instantly let me know and we soon got together on a weekend. We had a blast and the chemistry was there. We talked about doing other things together and it ended on a high note. Without giving too much away, I really tried to give her the impression that I was into her in the time between when I saw her next, which was the other night.

We went to an art exhibit and stayed out late after for drinks. Once again, we had a great time with lots of energy and laughter. She mentioned things we should do together in the future several times including traveling to her home country this summer with her, which I think is a big deal. She's going home for X-Mas in a few weeks but we planned on getting together before then. At the end of the night she walked with me to my subway stop and waited with me despite the cold weather. I thought this was the best opportunity to kiss her at the end of the night.

Well, after she hugged me I went for it and she turned and gave me her cheek. After I said "how about the lips"? and she said no and started walking away. I wished her a good weekend as she walked off and texted her to let her know I made it home. Basically did my best to treat her no different despite an undesirable outcome. No response.

I'm not sorry for what I did, but it sucks cause I really like her and she is really everything I want in a woman. This has never happened before. I thought it made sense to kiss her and now I am confused. Everything seemed to be going perfectly.

My question: any point in pursuing this girl any further?

Yeah, I'm surprised she didn't let you kiss her. I'd be feeling confused, too, if I were you.

I don't understand why she wouldn't text you back, either.

I'd leave the ball in her court for now. You could try again in a week, if you haven't heard from her. But after that, if you don't hear back from her, or she doesn't express interest or initiate seeing you again, then I'd move on.

In Europe things are different than in the US. It may think she wants a relationship with you, but for what you said this is more of a friendship than anything else. European women are the biggest c@@kteasers, believe me. My advice...plenty of American girls....you don't need Euro-trash
