one goal Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 At my gym there are a lot of really hot looking young ladies! I was wondering is it okay to look at them? I find myself looking at the girls all the time. I try not to stare, but I just can't help it. is it normal?
Treasa Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Hell yeah. I'm always glancing at good looking people, male or female.
SJC2008 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 They know what they're working with, they WANT you to stare!!! I like it when they're doing sit ups on the sit up chairs and you can see their camel toes!!! Down here we call them fat cats!!! 1
Estate Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Glance? Yeah, you're only human. Stare? God no, get it together. 1
ImperfectionisBeauty Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I go to the gym solely to get stared at so go for it lol 2
ascendotum Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Like watching a sunrise, its one the simple joys in life and... its free...well you pay your gym membership so you have earned the right. lol Its something to enjoy between sets that helps to offset the drudgery, sweat, pain & toil you are enduring. 1

Just remember most are probably in serious relationships so you have no chance. But look all you want. You don't have a chance unless you take a chance. I would surely at a minimum enjoy staring and understand muscle mass develops much better with the blood flowing good wink wink.

I dunno I mean they might complain, embarass you and call you a perve and slap you.

I like it when they catch me looking. I always look real hard too. I've been called a perv and slapped and it's all so good. I also get the feeling I do a lot better with women than you do what ever that means. My point is be yourself and enjoy the view. Some times just to lose all my senses and getting lost in the game is the way to go, they'll think you're in love but as Ms. Spears said herself I'm not that innocent.
somedude81 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I go to the gym solely to get stared at so go for it lol What do you wear when you work out?
USMCHokie Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I thought that was the only reason to go to the gym... 2
charlietheginger Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 i used to not look at women none looked At me... Things changed as i started loosing weight I lost 40lbs ... i started wearing better fitted clothes clean shaven Hair cuts every 4 weeks. A real beautiful women Flirted with me and i ignored her not on purpose But becuase i had low self esteem.... other women worked out around me Trying to get close once again my low self Esteem made me turn away... It took Me months later when i over heard two Girls talking about me saying i was a conceded ******* so into my self it was sick.. I relized that moment my low self esteem Was hurting womens self esteems. So i started Acknowledging women looking out of the corner Of my eye. Letting them catch me glancing at them. Suddenly women began smiling and talking some Small chitchat. I say dont stare but if one makes it obvious go ahead Take a look . Looking will prob make that women Feel better about herself
kiss_andmakeup Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Normally I'd say it's fine to look, but given the OP's posting history, I can't help but imagine that he is doing a whoooooole lot more than just the acceptable "looking."

He should ask them if they need a spotter. Maybe when a hot girl walks into the room he can wave and say "I saved you the treadmill right in front of mine!"
MrCastle Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I stare all the time. I'd say a considerable majority of hot women know they're hot. There's only a few who have low self esteem and whatnot. They know guys look. All good.

Haha you just gotta stare! 1
Under The Radar Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Years ago, I was in a local gym where a good looking woman was doing straight leg deadlifts in the corner. A friend of mine was using the hack squat machine nearby and was staring at her "posterior chain" while she was perfroming her repetitions. He was finished with his workout and was starting to put the free weights back onto the weight tree. Well, he was so "singularly minded", as he watched her workout, that he didn't notice a 25 pound plate was in front of a 45 pound plate on the loading sleeve of the machine. Sure enough, as he pulled the 45 pound plate off, the 25 pound plate fell off and landed square onto his foot. When he let out a yell, and the woman clearly busted him, I couldn't help but laugh away as a bystander. For years, after that happened, my other friends and I would "bust his chops" over that :lmao:. I told him in the future it might be easier to just send the beautiful girl a thank you card from Hallmark . At least that way nobody will get hurt.
Author one goal Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Ha! One time when I was running on the treadmill recently, two hot chicks, probably 18ish were talking and just heard the one girl talking to her friend saying last time when she was working out she noticed a guy looking at her because of the mirror.

The girls on the treadmill in front of me always do this side look thing but you know they're looking back to see you looking. Some times I use the mirror to look at the people! Direct stare is better though, things may be closer than they appear in the mirror.

Plenty men of crashed cars and other numerous accidents while giving a girl the stare down

ScreamingTrees Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I say dont stare but if one makes it obvious go ahead Take a look . Looking will prob make that women Feel better about herself Why even worry about the well-being of a total stranger? Sure, you MIGHT be making them feel better about themselves, but it's akin to giving a homeless guy a bagel or some money. Sure, it might make you feel GOOD for a little while, but it doesn't make you feel BETTER about your SELF in the long run.. You have no idea if those girls aren't just enjoying the attention itself, rather than having any interest in who it's coming from. They may even be smiling and looking away or getting a bit shaken up out of embarassment, because they're afraid of giving the wrong impressions.. Who knows.

Some times I use the mirror to look at the people! Direct stare is better though, things may be closer than they appear in the mirror. Yeah, there's definitely a certain percentage of women that "get off" on the attention. The woman I spoke of earlier in the thread (doing straight leg deadlifts) was always showboating for attention in the gym. All of the guys would line up to spot her and flirt. I honestly found her behavior unappealing and never spoke to her beyond a civil hello in response to her greeting me. The funny thing was, because I had no interest in her, she would always ask me for help first while ignoring many of the other "suitors". Her ego and obvious insecurities couldn't handle being ignored. She was the type that always needed to be the center of attention and thrived off of external validation.
sydneysider1978 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Yep, it's frickin creepy. Don't do it... If I caught a gym seriously ogling me or any other girls, I'd complain to the management. Lots of women don't go to the gym as they find it intimidating because of all the guys there. And if they do, they stick to the barbie weight section even through some proper deadlifts would be great for their posterior chain. Dudes, you keep saying you want your women to be slim and healthy. well then, welcome them to the gym, don't creep them out. (Noted, there is a small proportion of women that like the attention, they are probably wearing make up, with their hair loose) 1

Yeah, as challenging as being a man can be, I'm happy I'm not a "Hot Chick" at the local LA Fitness . 1
