mesmerized Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I know! I think I look better with curly hair than straight personally, but men don't seem to agree. My hair is naturally pretty wavy and I am sick of straightening it Ugh. Its cause of the media, men want what's hot in the media! Look for italian men, most italian men ive met so far liked curly hair. 1
mesmerized Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 What kind of curl are we talking about, tight little ones, or large flowing ones? Mine is in the middle, not tight nor very large. I have ringlets.
MrCastle Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Every woman I've met looks better with straight hair. I've never looked at a girl and said "ahh, all she's missing is some curls " It doesn't have to be super straight, like Japanese straightened, but I prefer straight or wavy. No curls for me

No curls for me I'm the opposite. Love curls way more than straight. Just think its much hotter, sexier. Like Jessica Alba in the first season of Dark Angel . Curly hair >>>> straight hair. 1
tigressA Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 If she's a girl you're dating and you liked her hat, it's the perfect opportunity to sweep her into your arms and kiss her unexpectedly. This will prompt a "what was that all about?" flustered response from her, where you'll tell her how wonderful she looks in the hat. Win/win. Much better than "you look cute in your hat". Sigh. My man does that. Do that! 1
Failboy Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 In my opinion cute is kind of patronizing because we all know that hot or gorgeous are much better. Now if someone simply doesn't fit the hot label and you want to make a compliment while keeping a straight face, go with cute. I personally am never happy when being called that, though. I'd rather have her liking my eyes or abs or something. "Cute" really makes me feel even more boyish than I already feel. I've also known a crapload of girls who specifically told me to never call them that because they probably felt the same way about the term.
Lonely Ronin Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Mine is in the middle, not tight nor very large. I have ringlets. Honestly, when it comes to hair, the only thing that really effects my attraction to a woman is length, and if it's in good shape. I prefer shoulder length to make top 1/3 of the back length. Google image search Cote de Pablo, she looks gorgeous when she has curly hair.

No curls for me Lol you don't really have the latino blood then. Latino men after italians are the ones that like my hair the most. They ask if its natural and give a lot of compliments. Other men tell me I should keep straightening my hair lol

For me, if I rank it, looks like this: cute hot sexy gorgeous beautiful But cute can be good. To me I identify "hot" with trouble. A girl that is physically attractive but her personality may be a little wild. Think Megan Fox, Rihanna, etc. I would only be interested in banging these types of girls. However, I find someone like Zooey Deschanel "cute", and would much rather enter a relationship with her. Sexy is physically attractive + oozing sex appeal. Gorgeous is pretty much physical perfection. Beautiful is physical perfection + flawless personality. That's why I was a little nervous about being called cute several times last night, but given the circumstances, it wasn't that serious.

MrCastle Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Lol you don't really have the latino blood then.[/Quote] Well thank you for calling the legitimacy of my cultural makeup into question! Latino men after italians are the ones that like my hair the most. They ask if its natural and give a lot of compliments. Other men tell me I should keep straightening my hair lol Some probably do, as some hispanics have naturally curly hair. Then again we come in all color shades, hair types, etc. Latina are all different. As a 100% latin man, "Keep straightening your hair lol."
mesmerized Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Still holding out for the curly hair and shoulder pads comeback? Curly hair is not like shoulder pads sorry. Tons and tons of people have naturally curly hair, has nothing to do with fashion and trends.

I went to this club full of argantenian guys and got so many compliments for my hair I would never get here. They told me I looked like shakira.
Lonely Ronin Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 They told me I looked like shakira. swoon!

Born and raised in the states but what does that have to do with my cultural makeup? I'm still hispanic no matter where I was born. My citizenship is American but my blood is hispanic. Shakira looks better with wavy hair. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-85zN4X9_q18/UGNtsEPfSzI/AAAAAAAAFvI/fU7CFQ2u808/s400/shakira.png Swoooooon

MrCastle Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Attraction is less about "blood" and more about culture. Alright well, then, if we were living in Argentina I'm sure they would be all over your shakira looking curly haired ass. But we live in America so, not sure how that helps you.

MrCastle Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 You will always have me MrCastle Well you're just a doll and more than likely the hottest lady on the board! 1
Eternal Sunshine Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Well you're just a doll and more than likely the hottest lady on the board! Sweet talker but I like it 1
MyPoutine Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I have a baby face so I'm used to being called "cute" more so than "pretty/beautiful etc" but it always irked me when my ex would call me that because I associate "cute" with attractive but not that attractive. It's okay if other people are not wowed but if I'm dating you I have to be more than simply "cute". As for the hair thing, lol, I have afro-textured hair so it's very very curly and I love it! Would never straighten it for anyone and it suits my face and features perfectly. I must admit it's a bit strange to hear men discussing hair texture, I never knew that was something guys thought about. 3
