love01 Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 My boyfriend & I are currently in college. But my board is pretty flexible than his. He is currently staying in the college's hostel & he is always busy with his course works. From the start he already told me & apologized to me that he couldn't be like other boyfriends out there,always having time for their girlfriends. All these while I tried to be understanding & supportive. I never nagged/complained whenever we didn't text or call for days. The longest we didn't talk was about 2 to 3 days. But this time things were differently. We didn't contact each other for about a week already. I am not so sure whether I upset him or what. But the last conversation ended with him asking me out. He misunderstood that I took it as a joke which I already explained to him but he didn't reply. Since then,I didn't want to text/call him because I thought he might be busy & I didn't want to seem clingy to him. His high school best friend told me that he might be having exam now (which both of us aren't sure) because he didn't tell anything to me. I am just worried. What's going on now? Am I being dumped? Or I should just wait a little while? Your advices would be much appreciated.

But sometimes I am just fed up how he would have the time to go on Facebook but no time to talk to me. But then I always tell myself that I should give him some space to breathe. Relationship is not always about each other. We always have our own lives but thanks!

However, if he has time for FB, he should atleast have time for a hello, how are you...I'm a firm believer in both letting the one I'm with live a little and in atleast saying hello. A couple should have some form of communication daily...even in the simple form. Just give him some time. It doesn't mean you cannot text him though 1

But this time was different. He didn't. I've been debating whether should I text him or not because you know texting somebody at the wrong timing might cause them to pull away even more. So yeah.

Well, in a strong relationship, it shouldn't pull no one apart just because one person is lonely and wants to talk to their partner after a while of near zero chat....
