I didn't rescue anybody but yesterday I was in a building and suddenly the elevator broke down, trapping some people in the elevator, it was around midnight and it seemed me and one of my friends were the only people around and apparently the elevator help button had malfunctioned, so I rushed to get the fire department to come over, and they managed to get the girls out, so yeah I didn't really do anything. Anyway I've seen one of the girls before but I don't really know her and while I've had felt like approaching her I had a strong gut feeling (my intuition and gut feelings are usually almost always right so I trust them) that I'd just make myself look silly but if I talk to her now would I have a better chance or would this make me look weird?

Don't make a deal of what you did though, just something like, "I'm the guy who saved your life the other day. No need for gushy cards or gifts, you can never hope to repay me actually, but I'll let you off the hook by buying me a drink."

crude Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Go for it, and don't forget the part about first having to rescue the guys from the Fire Department from that awful fire, and saving that cab driver along the way with mouth-to-mouth, and subduing the junkie who was about to kill 2 cops. You saw that incident while climbing a tree to save a kitten.
