I realize that you have probably heard this kind of over-analytical story before, but I would be really grateful for your help!

I have gone on 4 dates with someone I really like. On the last date, we kissed. He seems quite shy in general, especially about making moves etc. Although he is good looking and has probably slept with a lot of people, I don't think he has been in many serious relationships (probably a very bad sign).

Anyway since that, he has texted me twice out of the blue but not asked me out. Today, I buckled and texted him for the first time. He kind of 'tricked me' into asking me out buy saying 'we should hang out soon'. And then I asked him when he was free, he said any day, and I suggested one.

My question is: is he just not that bothered, lazy or shy?

If he is 'not that bothered' can I win him over with one last date, or should I just cut my losses and cancel (I HATE being rejected like anyone, and have had it happen to me too many times to mention).

Thanks v v much for any opinions you can give me. I can't stand dating. It makes me feel ill with worry!!

Sometimes guys like to be "asked out". Personally, when I myself (a guy) have to initiate plans 110% of the time it makes me feel like the girl doesn't really care to spend time with me.
