JohnnyCakes Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Do any of you feel Tuesdays are worse than Mondays? I always have a harder time motivating myself on Tuesdays for some reason. I bet it is because I inherently know Mondays are a drag, but when the work day is over, I get a little thrill and feeling of relief that it's over. But, when Tuesday morning comes around, that "high" has worn off and I'm left thinking, "ugh...still have 4 more days to go."
Minnie09 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Yeah me too. Worst weekday ever. It's because Mondats are inherently ****ty, since the weekend is over, but you're still "fresh" and halfway rested, plus you expect the worst anyways, because the workweek is just starting. But on Tuesdays, you're right there in the middle of the treadmill, while you haven't even been halfway through. It's the worst.
RegSinfield Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 lol, you're right to some extent. Actually it is generally accepted that Monday is the worst day of the week. So, may be that's why we do not think about it much, rather think more about tuesday being the worst day. But as far as my experience is concerned, I consider monday as worse than tuesday. On tuesday, I feel a little better. But even the thought of monday drives me crazy sometimes.
OpenBook Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Tuesday's are my most productive day. I also tend to work longer on Tuesday's than any other day of the week. Monday: a complete wash; don't know why I even bother going in Tuesday: alert and productive Wednesday: trying to recover from Tuesday Thursday: hanging on for the weekend Friday: breeze/joke right through it; don't get much done; leave early :D:D
pink_sugar Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Nope, Mondays are the worst. It's when I have to hear about how I didn't meat the quota each week.
