How long after dating do you know if they are the one you want to marry?

After a year? After 2 years? After ___ months?

I just would like some opinions/real life examples.

I think age/stage of life influence the time line.

Age definitely factors in. I "knew" about 6-8 months in and bf says he "knew" about 2-3 months in. However, we were very young (too young to get married) and now, about 8 years later still aren't married. Had we been older things might have gone differently and we may not have ended up in the living together before marriage trap.
