That reminds me of my former roommate...she knew the theme songs to just about every commerical and TV show I've ever seen! Okay, so maybe you're not *that* hooked on TV, but she was also very quiet and tried to emulate the behaviour of her favourite TV characters. When you're trying to come out of your shell, adopting a different/admired persona can be very helpful. oh ya with relationship with girls and the girl that like me should i talk to her about tv-since i watch a lot of it. some of my classmates from school laugh or giggle when i tell em i watch a lot of tv. so is taking about tv or having a good and big interst in tv a good thing. Almost everyone watches TV these days. Saying you watch a "lot" is relative - for some people, just a few hours a week is too much. Try talking about your favourite shows - plot lines, why you like them, etc. I know The O.C. especially is a lot of folks' "guilty pleasure" show! (It's mine, anyway. ) Beyond that, there's nothing "wrong" with watching TV, as long as you balance it with other interests. Do you participate in any other activities - i.e. games, sports, clubs? Extracurriculars are a great start for meeting new people and better yet, they'll be people who share your interests. Keep talking to people, do the things you enjoy and the relationships you seek will surely follow. Good luck!
