I'm going to try an make this short, but stories really never are.

I met this guy, he was everything I ever hoped for. He made me laugh, he was the guy version of myself.

It seemed like everything was perfect.

But, he came with a lot of baggage, he had a girlfriend before me for about three years, and they were very serious.

When we were together he mentioned her from time, to time. But I ignored it because he was older and I wanted to be mature about this.

But, he made it seem like she was his past and I was his future. He told me he loved me. He said all these wonderful things, then he just left.

Now his ex is now dating someone new, but from what I hear he is upset about this and still has feelings for her.

I love this kid with everything in me, and I don't know what to do.

I really think the timing was off for us, I think we would have worked out a lot better if we happened when he was over her.

I don't know if I should wait and give him time, and just work on myself an see what happens because I feel so much for this kid.

He fell for me once it was just he wasn't ready. I don't know, maybe I'm just a naive little girl.

Move on. It's clear he isn't over his ex. Say he was to come back and you guys last for say a year and his ex comes back? Guarantee he'd probably take her back. I would know. It happened to me. Trust me when I say you dodged a bullet. Find someone new, sweetie.
