Can I consider her my girlfriend , do i need to ask her to be my girlfriend?

Hey Guys, can i consider a girl my girlfriend if we love each other and we both tell it to each other and we kiss everyday and we are very close, like in public i ve kissed her, she holds my hand and she told me that im the love of her life and so do i... Now, what i really want to know is, do i need to ask her if she wants to be my girlfriend or she is already my girlfriend because we act almost like a couple. And we really love each other ! thnx

I would think it's assumed you two are exclusive and she is your girlfriend, you're her boyfriend. But, if you aren't sure, just say to her I'm so lucky to have a girlfriend like you!

No you can't assume that you are exclusive any more that you can assume that your married.

 

Having a talk about definitions, boundaries, and exclusivity is a healthy and mature thing to do. It is one way to remove ambiguity and make sure you are both on the same page.

Just ask her about it! If you two are really that close, something like this shouldn't be a big deal .

I was going to say the same thing. Ask her if you are "going steady" or not. If she hesitates or gives some weird answer, then she is not your girlfriend. If she says yes, then you're in like flynn.
