The past couple months I have been able to move on from my ex. Every now and then I will he will cross my mind, but nothing enough to make me sad and heartbroken like I was a couple months ago. This past week my tires were mysteriously slashed and my car was keyed. At first I did not think he had anything to do with it. I have not seen him for months, so I had no reason to believe it was him. About 2 weeks ago, we exchanged a few texts regarding some money he owed me. We were able to work it out so that I could just pick up the money from under his doormat. That was that, and I thought we would just be done for good.

I don't think anybody on here remembers my story, but simply put he broke up with me 5 months ago, had a new gf the same week we broke up. Now, I have been told from a few of his friends that they believe the person who slashed my tires is my exe's gf. I don't know what to think of this, considering I have never even met this girl. I don't know how she would even know where I live and what car I drive, unless my ex was there also. I have not talked to him since breaking up, except for getting my money back 2 weeks ago.

What could the possible motivation be? I have not done a single thing to this girl.

I could be wrong on all of this, but the fact that my exe's friends reached out to me to tell me they believe it was her, has me thinking it was her.

It could have been anyone...clearly revenge from you asking for the money back.

Sorry to hear about this, sounds very immature oh him

That seems very extreme. Did they tell you a) why they think it was her? (is there enough evidence to get police involved) and b) why they think she did it? (if he broke up with her to get back with you that makes sense but otherwise: why would she care so much about his money?). Weird.

Whatever the reason...gives you clarity and closure to move on from the idiot!!!!

I asked why they thought it was her, and they just said I bet she got upset that he had to give you money. It wasn't even really that much money.

There is no evidence it was her. I filed a police report, but they cannot do anything until there is evidence. Nobody has mentioned them breaking up so I assume they are still together. It is pretty weird how this happens after I got my money from him though, and that is own friends think its her.

If it is even her, I don't know why she would care so much. I didn't do anything to her. If anything I should be slashing her tires.

An eye for an eye...just wait a few months ;-)

Yeah this definitely changes my view on him.

I don't plan on doing anything because, well, I'm better than that. But I'm saying I should be the one slashing tires and being the crazy ex gf, but I'm not.

Thanks for your responses!

Well if it was her, just imagine all the fun your ex can expect when he finally dumps her for a being a bit unhinged. :)
