what my ex wants

Hey everyone,

first time posting so im not really sure what im doing but heres my story

i went out with this girl for about 10 months she was the first girl i ever went out with and i for her as well.

our relationship was good for the most part until her mum found out and her mum didnt want her dating any boy but she still do and in the long run her mum did like me but thought she was too young for anything serious but apart from that we were happily together enjoyed going out and spoke all the time i mean 24/7 it was actually over the top she kept saying i was too good for her :/ which i denied being and she kept saying how lucky she was to met me and how my personality was the best. any way come september my ex decides to break up with me now shes told me before she wants to break up and we have for about a day. that happened twice and pretty much the same thing happened this time as well.

Except this time her friend found out about us breaking up so set her up with a new guy the next day. so one day after she broke up with me shes talking ot this new guy and every time i tried talking to her she would just tell me to f*** off. so i got a bit pissed and said 'wow thats cool its been less than a day and you already moved on like that' and she tells me to shut up and i need to mature. so then I dont talk to her for about two weeks until i bumped into her one day.

All I did was say hey and she just gave me a dirty look and walked off.

the next day she texts me saying i had an attitude problem and needed to fix up. and then she asked me to delete her number which i did.

then about another two weeks later i get another text from her saying 'hey who did you tell about us breaking up'... i didnt respond to the text. she then texted my cousin saying what did i tell him about us breaking up.

the day after that she phones him while i was with him and told him i was lying about everything and he shouldnt believe everything i say. 5 minutes later she phones me saying my cousin was being weird on the phone and was saying made up stuff about me. so I spoke to her and shes telling me how she broke up for the best of both of us and shes not going out with this guy theyre just really good friends. and then she says she was sorry for being a **** girlfriend to me and I just wasn't the right guy.

After that i was done, deleted her number again and was just focusing on uni, i told myself who ever I end up with i have no control over whatever happens happens. the night i told myself that which was another two weeks later she texts me just saying 'hey'. i dont like ignoring people so i talked back and we had a convo about how unis going and friends we've made and everything and she was telling me she met some nice people.

that was from 12am to 1 am.

then for about half a week nothing until she messaged me agian saying i saw your friend at her uni il go say hi to him. im like ok... and hse did and hten we had another long convo and shes telling me how her firned saw me and that i looked different and shes like 'why couldn't you do this when we were going out ' I just said didnt have alot of time back then. and after that she was 'omg ive missed you :/ I thought I was stronger than this' now im not thinking she wants me back but i am thinking alright maybe we can be friends. so she stayed up all night talking to me and then went to sleep. The next day i messaged her and she was being weird like distant, so i asked her whats up and she said nothing i just having nothing to say to you and then we spoke for abit about driving and im like so yday was just random crap then and shes like no i missed talking to you but thats all. i haven't found anyone else i can have meaningful conversations with so i just missed having them with you.

The conversation ended shortly after that i decided i wouldnt message her again.

about a week later she messaged me asking if i could take her to the test centre for learner drivers because she didnt know where it was. i agreed because i was in uni near by there so thought it was just showing her and thats it. one the day she got there early so we walked around and i helped her revise and she tried feeding me chocolate like she used to. i then took her to the test centre and she asked me to wait until she was done. i said yes and so i waited and she came out and had passed. i was happy for her so i took her out for lunch as well. as we were walking to the restaurant a girl i knew form uni came up to say hi which is pretty normal except after wards my ex said she was jealous that another girl was talking to me. i asked her why she was jealous and she said she didnt know and then said wasnt i jealous of her and i said no i used to be but got over it. i then slyly asked about that guy she was going out with and she said im not going out with him were jsut friends i mean i did like him but i dont like him any more, we talk every day but the convo gets boring because there's nothing to talk about. im like oh but he has a good personality shes like eh its alright then i said but you find him attractive and she goes not really so i finally asked did you just like him because he liked you :/ and she didn't say anything just gave me a look. after that she jsut said he treats me like im his gf even though im not and he has a short temper.

after that i ordered the food and we had a nice meal and she kept on being nervous around me. i just found it funny to be honest.

she then asked me to go with her to another place an hour away so she could pick something up and i said yeah sure. so i went with her and she kept saying how she feels lonely like people care for her but no one really cares for her like a single important person. i just kept telling her she'll find that person one day. so then she just eventually leaned on my shoulder for the entire time. until we got back to our area and she went home and i went home. after that she phoned me for the rest of the day talking about everything and eventually i said im going to the gym and she was like okay byeee. 10 minutes later she's messaging me again and this is until 2 in the morning. she tells me she made a mistake in breaking up with me and was an idiot for it and how my personality was perfect for her because i treated her with respect unlike the other guys she had met. and then i was like its alright just got to sleep and rest cos you got a busy day tomorrow. also we had made plans to go out the next week just to shop for some stuff together.

she went to a wedding where that guy she was talking to also went and the day after the wedding she messaged me saying we shouldn't meet up don't want to lead you on. im like al right and then asked are you going out with that guy. she said its none of your business but no im not going out with him or any more. after that i go why did you say all of those things before and she said it was in the moment. after that i said al-right listen stop having these moments with me they're not good for either of us.

she then goes on to tell me how she feels sad and lonely after we finish talking because she cant talk to anyone else like the way she used to talk to me and then she lists the reasons why she doesnt want to go out iwth me becuase of culture etc etc and then she goes i say those things to push you away.

Another week goes by we still dont talk. she then messages me at 2 in the morning on a Saturday because she found out I went on a date with a girl the night before and so started asking me how it went. i told her it wasnt great and shes like oh maybe you should stop talking to this girl then and i said maybe. after that convo we didnt speak for another three weeks until she blocked me off whatsapp and then i messaged her saying you can just delete my number you dont need to block. she then phones me and goes I only blocked you because that guy said i shouldnt be showing boys my display picture apart form him. so im like oh your bf and she goes no not my boyfirned and then proceeds to tell me how hes abit of a d***head and that she doenst like him in that way and spoke to him less and doesnt know why she bothers talking to him and tells me its because shes bored and hes entertaining sometimes. and then she tells me she doesnt know why she would try marrying him because it wouldn't ever work and then tells me shel just eventually just stop talking to him maybe.

after that part of the phone call she then tells me everything going on in her life all of her problems and her family problems and asks for my opinions and then tells me all the good news in her life. this is again until 2 in the morning. so then i said i was going to sleep and that was that. two days later she messaged me saying she saw a guy i knew but she didnt know him and i was abit confused because usually she doenst message me about random things. but i said oh cool and then that was it. although later that day i ran into my ex because she only lives 20 minutes away from me and she said she didnt recognise me and i looked diferent and then i gave her this cupcake i bought and she later messaged me to say thanks and asked what was the real reason i had bought it.

to be honest i dont know if im over thinking whats going on here or just a confused guy. i apologise if this is a long story and also for my many many spelling errors please forgive me but any help i would really appreciate.

i really did think this girl was the one for me and still have not met anyone quite like her yet.
