This is a random question, but I read something that women who use sensual toys for self-pleasuring, are less likely to date Men. It makes women more happy to please themselves that they are no longer looking for unsatisfactory men.

Have you or your female friends sworn off men, if you have a toy available to pleasure yourself?

IME the opposite is the case. More of the less experienced women I have dated didn't own vibrators, were less open sexually.

I don't mind the toys as long as they don't require gasoline or a crankcord to start, won't short out my power, don't make noise above 80 decibels, or make dents in the sheetrock. If they could knock out a pet when set off, I don't want them around.

If a woman is looking for a relationship that includes sex and everything else like companionship, etc, then a vibrator isn't going to cut it.

If she's faced with hookups, then sometimes the vibrator wins! It's a lot of effort to wax just for a one-off, ya know. :lmao:

I'm also the opposite - I use my toys a lot more within the confines of a relationship than when I am single.

I dont think plastic can replace a man....like i dont think blow up dolls with a hole for a mouth replace women.......as far as i know not many women kiss their vibrators good morning or ask their vibrators how their day was.....they might give them pet names though....don't know.......when i used to own one i was in a relationship...i am not in one now and i dont own one....so really i dont fit the profile you are stating...not that i think women do anyway..deb

A vibrator can't spank your ass, pull your hair, talk dirty to you, or cuddle with you after it's all done. When they find a toy that does that, then I'll be worried.

I bought my first sex toy for use alone during my only real self-prescribed man hiatus a few years ago. Sometimes I just strongly desired more penetration than I could produce with my hands.

Now that I'm in a relationship and like to keep myself as sensitive and responsive to him and his equipment as I can, I never use it anymore.

Before that, I only had a few toys here and there that I picked out with boyfriends and used with them only. I imagine my boyfriend and I might try a toy or two in the future.

What would be the appeal of a toy with your boyfrriend?

Dildo for me while he goes down on me is the most relevant example to this thread :) It was his idea, and I loved it.

More obvious ones that work better for couples are things like handcuffs, crotchless panties, flavored lube, and the like.

My boyfriend has dropped hints about something fun to spank me with, beyond his hands. I told him I'm game, but he seems shy/reserved about following through. He's a wild man in the sheets, a choir boy in the streets.

Could be a good Christmas present for him. Spank me, Santa. lol

I wouldn't think of handcuffs, flavored stuff, etc. as toys -- but I can see how others would.

hmmm, mint-flavored candies might qualify, if you can figure out what you might do with those. Interesting question: do different mints (wintergreen, peppermint, etc. as well as eucalyptus, camphor, menthol) have different "playful" effects? Maybe assign this as a homework problem.

Now if your boyfriend could learn to go down at the same time as he uses his own "dildo" that would be quite an accomplishment! But I doubt that's ever been done.

I didn't know Santa and Mrs. Claus were that naughty, but who knows what the elves are up to?

how about trying well made, real feel like vagina to get even with those women?

I don't think women are afraid of 'real dolls' stealing their potential mates

a fake doll being remotely satisfying

(honestly, I don't know a single woman who has "sworn off men" in favour of her toys)

It was a Sex and the City episode. Therefore, all women do it. :)

My toys help me have fun when I'm not with someone (and very very fun times when I am with a guy!). I love my toy chest, and I love getting new toys to try out. But I have never--and would never--choose any sex toy over a living, breathing man. The two experiences don't even kind of compare. It's the difference between McDonald's and a gourmet meal.

If the above logic was accurate, there would be virtually NO women dating men whatsoever! :lmao: We wouldn't even need LS because all the women would be completely satisfied with their toys.

Come on now! If that was the case who would they bemoan for their fate in life, their vibrator? That just wouldn't make sense unless the batteries in it ran out when it was totally unexpected.

IMO, a finger is much better for self-pleasuring than a toy. It is probably the same for men. I have also read that men who use their hand for self-pleasuring are less likely to date Women. It makes men more happy to please themselves that they are no longer looking for women.

I have also known some men who were very jealous of the toys because the toys were much bigger then d...ks of the guys.
