Shes cute, seems fun, dresses sexy, and obviously is proud of her chest (cant tell if theyre real though). She has no kids. And though she doesnt have a big shot job, she does work and has plans to go back to school. Id prolly give her a shot even though she isnt totally my type. But I really wanted you guys to see some girls do like shorter guys and prefer it. Im an average 5'9 myself, so I actually fall out of her fetish zone

No where does it say that being 5'4 or shorter is a deal breaker.

I mentioned how I saw a picture of her handsome boyfriend on facebook and asked how they got together. She told me she almost refused to meet him through mutual friends because he was TOO TALL! "HOW tall?" I asked, preparing to be amazed by his gigantic height. He's 6'2"! She is not really short, at 5'4". She said that she found men who were "that much taller" than her to be intimidating; she did not like to "look up" to a man to have eye contact and that it reminded her of talking with her dad, which was disconcerting in a dating scenario. She prefers men under 5'10". Anyway, she overrode her preferences and "settled" for a happy relationship with the too-tall guy. 1

I have noticed that latinas are more forgiving regarding height. Id say this is a function of latino people generally not being as tall as some white and black people are. Same thing for asian gals. Ive seen them with guys who are considered shorter than average. But like latin folks, asians tend to have a smaller average height. All that being said, it does seem those women still want a guy several inches taller than them. Which is relatively normal...but at least they arent the snobby super short women who want a guy whos tall even though they are tiny. Heres another example of a girl who gives short guys a chance. 5'5 guys are getting a shot =) Sure this one has kids, but lets be real. Shes a looker with sex appeal...albeit a tiny 5 foot stature. PS - To all the shorter than average guys out there...Im not saying your height doesnt affect who dates you. I know it does and happens. Im just saying that there are women out there who will give you a chance. Shorter girls farther away from your height are your best market.

According to peer reviewed medically collected data the average man is 5'10" +/- 2", the average woman is 5'4" +/-3. Thus a average height man is taller than about 80% of women by at least three inches. It is probable that some of these guys are attracted to taller women, who are in turn attracted to taller men. Even so there are taller women who I am sure don't want children who are the size of the Jolly Green Giant and so seek out men who are of a more average height. I am 178 cm or 5'10 and some change. At my height I am the same height as say, Adriana Lima, or Chuck Norris. At this height my height is not unattractive to men or to women. IMHO if your height is between 5'7" and 6' weather your a man or woman you can find someone relatively easily. TLDR: If your a short guy...less than 6', objective evidence shows that you will find a woman in real life just fine. So what if women go on OLD and input the imaginary measurements of prince charming. They are looking for a Cinderella story, you are looking for a woman, a not an overgrown girl. 1
PJKino Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 I dont think anyone with sense beleives its impossible for a short man to get a women its just that the odds are stacked agianst you The fact that maybe 80% of women will refuse to date you if your under say 5'9 to begin with then even if there are 20% of women who will date a man your height they still have to be attracted to you physically and personality wise which makes the poool even smaller At least fat women can lose some weight,beign a short guy is almost like having an ugly face an unattratcive trait u cant change which is why its such a sensitive subject with dudes 1

I am 100% certain that 99.9% of people when asked would say they would never be turned on by a transsexual, yet transsexuals MTF and FTM can and do get sex, friendship, and relationships.

The fact that the average man is 5'10" Mens average height chart while the average woman is 5'4" Average womens height chart implies that women sexually select men who are about six inches taller than them. (Which explains your thing about heels) What you suggest, that women only want a man who is 6' just isn't born out by observation. If you have trouble with women, it's probably not because of your height.

I can show you studies that show height preferences for males and females. Most of the women in that range you gave are dating plenty of guys from 5'8 to 5'11. They will say that they want a tall guy, but most relationships I have seen recently have been where the man and woman are within an inch of each other. They also say they want a nice guy, but usually falls for a guy that treats them badly. I am starting to not listen to what women say, but follow what they do

Yes there are always exceptions....but people on here speak of it as if its the norm. NO ITS NOT. Where I live...in NE Ohio....it tends to be the shorter women that are more stuck on the guys height than the taller women. Its so bad the taller women are b*tching about it too. Most? Provide some stats to support that. I never said that it was the norm but that there are plenty of women out there who will go for guys under 5'8 1
