Hey i am new here and i am seeking for a bit of an advice

 

So i've been dating this girl since 2 and a half years. Finally she broke up with me. She gave me alot of reasons. She told me that she was close to another guy, i said we could deal with it just dont break up. And then after that finally she told me that she was sick of all the drama, wanted some peace in her life and all that.

Its been around 2 months since we broke up. Few days back she gave me a chocolate with a note on it saying " i love you, always have and always will "

Now she asks me that if we could be friends. Close friends actually. She really wants me to be a part of her life. She loves me alot.

I just want to know that should i go for it?

I'm not sure on my own because sometimes i am rockstrong and tell myslf that i dont need her. But always i really miss her. I really cant decide what is good for me. To go back or to move on.

Obviously i wont be happy when i would hear about her new relationships.

I woud get jealous. I would wish that it was me.

Yeah i want to be close to her. Even i love her alot.

But when we text, like yestrday we were texting normally. She send me some kiss smileys. I couldnt stand that because that made all my past flash through.

Then I think you either need to tell her you want to get back together or you need to cut her out of your life completely and move on.

Telling her that i want to be back together just wont help. She wont get back with me. She wants us to be more like friends and forever.

Cutting her from my life wont be so easy. I just cant stop myslf from texting her like a freak.

I left all my friends everyone just to be with her all the time. Now shen she left i am just left with a bunch of bones and mind full of regrets. Just hate my life now.

I have female friends and they tell me about stuff they do with other men, and because they are just friends I don't care. They don't lie to me about where they are going and what they are doing, they are just friends. Yours would not be a friendship, it will be filled with lies and deceit. Both of you would lie about what you are doing and who you're with to save hurt feelings and possible reconciliation.

 

Ask yourself if you can handle hearing conversations about her and other men, if you can't, you can't be friends. Instead your "friendship" will consist of 1 friend (her) and you covertly trying to win her back.

...and you're not going to get anything more than a bunch or bones and a mind full of regrets until you fill your life up with other things. And that's not going to happen if you're still following this girl.

 

Yes, cutting her from your life will be HORRENDOUSLY hard. And will take much longer than you can imagine. But in the long run, you'll be happier, and you're not going to be develop a meaningful relationship with another girl until this one is out of your system.
