Alexandré Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 OK a few months ago I met this girl at a party, we hit it off pretty well. Then after a while I need to go home, so I go outside to leave, but theres a car blocking mine. So I go back inside to find out whos it is, and sure enough its the same girl, so she insists that I walk her out to move it. Well she was a little drunk so I took the keys from her and got in her car, and she got in the drivers seat. Well she starts getting handsy and starts kissing my neck and what not. Then after that I walked her back inside and left. Well she gave me her number so I decided to call her. I did so a few times and then we went out on a date. The date went really good, but after that she never returned my calls or answered her phone. So I just thought "well **** her" and moved on. Then a few weeks later she tells my friend "He's a nice guy, but it wasnt working out." So I go months without even seeing her or anything. Then a week ago I'm hanging out with my friend and he says we should go to another friend's house for a while. Well sure enough that girl was there. We didnt really talk much or anything, and things didnt seem ackward at all. Then on Tuesday night I get a call from my friends and theyre asking me if I still have the girls number, and that I should call her and ask her out again. So I'm like WTF??? Then I get a call from one of my friends, and she pretty much breaks everything down for me. Apparently the girl's reason for not calling me or returning my phone calls was that she thought I only wanted to be friends, which was so not the case. This was like the first date I had where I decided to wait to make any moves until the second date, and it odviously proved disasterous. She also explains that the girl was in the car when my friends made the phone call, and that she was bummed that I didnt call her that night, even saying "AWWW He hates me now!!!" She also told me that the girl liked me alot . So now most likely I'm going to take her out again, but something still sounds fishy about all this. Any thoughts?

EC Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 I agree. Don't rely on getting the information from your friends. Call her directly and ask her why she didn't call you back. If she says its because she thought you wanted to be friends then explain what happened on the date. GL.
