Feeling empty after doing this

First time in some time I looked at our pics we took prior to thanksgiving and broke down .i know you can't get much from a picture but looking at these I would have never guessed she was week or so away from then dropping a bomb on me.I dunno still struggling to cope I guess plus my trust seems gone.I feel like damaged goods at this point just don't know what to do.sigh

know how you feel. It's really tough looking at old pictures especially ones right before the break. I had to get rid of all the pictures of me and my ex together. It was really one of the only ways i could keep myself from being reminded about it.

I may have to do that just not strong enough yet .Guess I'm just lost,sad but mostly alone.Our year break up is coming up which happens to be our wedding aniversey so guess its gonna get tougher .Dunno if ill ever be fully healed tbh it's been a rough year

Ouch...just got to keep looking ahead to the future and realize that there is something better around the corner. Find a good distraction and every time you find yourself thinking about the past find something to keep your mind busy. I'm actually going through my first big break up right now, and so far the things that have worked the best are simply keeping busy and removing aspects of our old life together one day at a time.

Thanks I've been trying heck even picking up extra shifts just to keep busy .I had to drop the emt course I was taking last year due to medical reasons but I plan on going back next spring .Im almost 30 not getting any younger lol.Not gonna lie up Untill recently I was gonna break nc cause I was holding out on a thread of hope maybe down the road we get back together after all never say never right ?.well after finding out she got knocked up/married I could never break nc plus that bit of hope I had was crushed .sigh

Huh. Don't look at old pics. Never. Put them aside in a box, delete them from your computer, Facebook, whatever.

 

I hid the old pics so well that I couldn't even find them now, heh. I don't want to throw them away as it will be funny to look at them, say, in a year by which time it will mean nothing at all.

 

A few days ago I wanted to change my avatar on Gmail and among the recommended pics there was one with my ex. Grr, I was angry but, interesting enough, I didn't feel sad or anything.
