Interesting article about how men and women differ when they dump someone.

'We're done'

'I met someone else'

'It's not working out'

'I can't give you that'

The last one was from my exW and, no, it didn't refer to sex.

My favorite lines have been, for myself, 'ending it':

'I feel abandoned'

'I feel like a servant'

'I can't do this anymore'

What I'm recounting are the words actually spoken in person. I've never 'ended it' any other way, nor the reverse. Perhaps that's generational.

Well, for me ... after 8 years of living together, I said, "I'm sorry, I have to end the relationship."

Reasons? "I'm so unhappy. I don't feel I can be myself. And I don't feel I'm living the life I am meant to live."

It's funny that the article highlights women want money and men want sex.

I guess the ol' primal mating instincts haven't changed, at large! lol

However, I'm at the place where a man's money (even though mega important for anybody: bills need to be paid, afterall!) isn't the focus. I'm too busy trying to make my own and use my own machete to cut a path through the jungle.

It'd be good to meet up with someone who has his own machete, though. Then we can cut two paths through the jungle: one beside the other!

My stock line is "I'm sorry, I just don't see a future for us." I've never really been sat down and dumped officially, usually they do it with bad behavior that leaves me no choice but to end things and move on. There's really not much left to say after they cheat or crack me in the nose on purpose.

Thats why I have always wondered why prostitution is outlawed in most places despite it being a natural part of nature.

''I need some space.''

A week later the guy finds out she's dating some other guy. She only needed space from him to pursue the other guy without feeling like a slut :lmao:.

''I love you, but I don't love you anymore.''

This one is more used by married women. After the 7-year itch(nowadays its like, 2 years) they're bored of sleeping with their husbands, or want a higher status husband. Its a great way to dump the despairing husband and to maintain their own dignity although they're acting like horny 20 year old girls.

''I'm just not sure about you.'' I thought I could have settled for you, but Johnny B. over there is giving me a wickedly charming grin.

Monopoly over a commodity(sex) that can reach sky-high prices if properly controlled and sold. What was one of the incentives for men to marry? Sex. How many sexually-starved men are out there? Way too many to count. Since more than half of marriages end quickly enough, and the other half is probably sex-barren and riddled with problems, I'd say that free sex(that sex had in relationships) is far more expensive than sex with escorts and that's why most women abhor prostitutes and outlawed them.

If you drop by the prostittution thread you'll learn that the women who are against prostitution are against it because they are afraid their husbands are going to cheat on them. The women who are against prostitution do not care at all that many guys are born with defects or are amputees, can't get sex from everyday women, and instead of allowing men to experience sex, they'd rather have those guys spend a lifetime as involuntary celibates because they don't want the price of sex with women to plummet(which guy is going to dine and wine a woman, act all cocky/funny and use other PUA devices, kill himself on the gym, to get laid when sex with exceedingly beautiful and young women is there, for a low price?).

So, should women be prevented from talking to other men as soon as they enter a relationship because its FAR, FAR easier for a woman regardless of how ugly she might be to find sex?

Hawaii, you should move to the middle east where women are forced to obey their husbands no matter what. You never have to worry about her leaving or cheating you.

No need for that. I know relationships and marriage aren't good for men, so I avoid all of that.

Hawakai, I do not believe that women can monopolize sex even if they wanted to. Men possess a lot of power. We control all of the military and most police forces, we dominate politics, and control most businesses. If women even tried to monopolize sex, the men would not just sit around and do nothing. They would fight and win.
