What has been the longest you have gone being broken up before you got a second chance, if you did that is. please share your stories or stories of friends and families

I would not say this was a second chance...but we both just decided we worked better together than apart at that time. We stayed broken-up for about 5 months. I am not with him anymore but it was fun while it lasted.
