connor9 Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 (edited) So just recently my girlfriend broke up with me, we had been going on 5 months and i loved every second of it, but she dumped me. I felt like crying and not doing anything. It's killing me on the inside. She said we should stop going out because we don't see each other that much. I always tried to make time for her but she was either at her dads or busy with sports. We still hungout a lot, talked all the time, and had a great relationship. but now she is starting soccer and i am playing basketball for my high school, therefore it will be hard to see each other. She said she still really likes me a lot it will just be hard. I don't understand, if she still likes me a lot why break up with me? Yet she still sends me text messages and we talk daily, and she seems to still enjoy me and like me. Now i am just trying to hold on of what i have left with her. I asked her the other day if we could ever get back together and she replied that it was a very strong possibility. She even said after we are both done our sports we could maybe go out again. She also claims she still wants to hangout with me and we have already made plans to see each other soon. I am just extremely confused by all this and don't know what to do? She swears she didn't break up with me because there was somebody else envolved, just that we wont have enough time to hangout" as a couple", I don't know what to do, I still love her and miss her being my girlfriend. I hope she still likes me and is being completely honest about getting back together. Should I ask her out again? Should i just continue to talk with her and be friends and hangout? Should i wait on asking untill both sports seasons are over? Should i stop talking to her even though i find it extremely hard to do? Is she just doing all this because she feels bad and does not want to hurt me anymore?? All of this has me very confused and stressed out someone please help me out!
