Hi.

I was just wondering how a woman goes about demonstrating her "frustration" that you may not be mutually interested in her as she is with you when she's flirting with you? I feel I have gotten lot's of positive "signs" from a woman (she's 25) and it went on for about a month. Her room mate asked me one day in the lab that I clean (their both students at a graduate school) if I had any children, if I was married, or had a girlfriend. I told her no to children and married, but I told her I "kinda' had a girlfriend ( I do have a girlfriend, but it's been a bit rocky and I really didn't date much in my 20's and 30's and so I wanted to keep a possibility open with her). I realize the "kinda' do have a girlfriend" comment didn't help at all, but I was really just curious what signs a lady gives when she's frustrated that your not showing mutual interest. And if your not, (at first), does this completely rule out any possibility of her ever being interested again if you start to show interest?

Thank-you.

Well, the only girl to really aggressively show interest in me did so a number of months..

Eventually, she backed off, moved on to several other guys, ect.. We're on good terms, but she's just distanced herself a lot. She's also temporarily living across the country. I guess I can only blame myself for making her feel unwanted and unattractive at the time..

I don't know if they show any obvious signs, unless they specifically communicate to you their frustrations. This girl seemed perfectly fine when we spent time together, she just became much harder to get a hold of.. I can only assume she didn't want to just be friends, and she figured she was getting nowhere.

I'd say you either go for it, or risk losing this person as an option in the future. If you make them feel like they're only a "future option" or that you're not really attracted, they're inevitably going to sit and think "Ok, well, whatever, screw you, man.. I give up." if they have any self respect/worth..
