The first 6 months we lived in the same town, and the last 6 months were LD due to him relocating for a job, and I was to follow shortly after. In June he was going through a lot of stress, and became distant and then broke up with me. I went no contact and didn't hear from him at all until 2 weeks ago. He was in town on vacation from work. He text me one letter and I said what? He said sorry, I didn't mean to send that, I guess I still think of you. He then came out to see me. We did not have sex that night or anything. Last week then he text me and I said if you hate me I understand, I just want you to know you still matter and I still care and I'm sorry. I didn't hear again from him until tonight. He text me apologizing again and saying you are still important to me and I just want to tell you how sorry I am. I asked what he was sorry for, and he said I should have taken better care of you. I'm so confused about where this is all suddenly coming from after not speaking for months. Does anyone have any idea what all this could be about? Thanks everyone
Helluva Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 He might have been seeing someone, but after that ended he might have felt inclined to reach out to you once more and mend some hard feelings. Maybe even see if there's a chance of y'all getting back together or to see if you still like him in any sort of way. When this happens, its more of an ego boost than anything else. But he could just have stumbled upon some things that led to him remember about the good and bad times, once again making him feel inclined to message you. If I were you, I'd tell him to buzz off unless he wants to call you and talk things over or meet over coffee or something to set the record straight. It personally annoys me getting random text messages every other day due to someone feeling bad about things.
