miaumiau Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 (edited) Hi! Some weeks ago I met an amazing guy... I really was not looking for someone... I wanted to stay alone for a while while sorting out my life... But since I met him everything has changed... I am positive the whole time, just thinking of him... We met a day I went Hiking with some close friends... he lives an hour away from where i live right now... But since them we have met around 5 times... First time after the day we met, i went to the city he lives at to visit a friend of mine and i told him i was going and he decided to join me and my friend... we had such a fun night!... we ended up making a silly bet.. wich i lost.. so i owe him inviting him to the movies... a week after that he came to my city with a friend of his and he asked me if i had time for drinking something, so i went and met him a his friend.. . and just as the previous 2 encounters we laughed the whole time... we are always teasing each other... that same week I invited him to my sister´s Bday party... so he came, and spent the night at our place (at my room... but nothing happened)... the next day he was catching upo with some friends and i came along with him... another common friend of us came as well, we had a nice chat... Last weekend we went traveling toguether, we joined a tour with some other students, and friends of us... we spent a lot of time toguether... I tried not to be the whole time with him not to get of his nerves (was quite dificult...)... I really like him, but i have no idea if he likes me back... well im sure he likes me al least as a friend... but id like to know if there is a chance it might be more... Im afraid to stay trapped in the "friend Zone"... I already broke to touch barrier... by friendly punching his shoulder... and he does it back as well... so at least he feels confortable around me... Remember the bet i lost?... he remembered it and asked me to set a date for it... so he is comming this friday for us to get even... any tips or insight you guys could give me? With younger people in their early 20s, dating is sometimes considered uncool or stiff. So, people get into these unclear situations! Unless the guy is gay or in dire need of a friend (new in town perhaps?), I would hazard to say that he IS into you. Usually men don't go out of their way to hang out with a new friend otherwise... Also, he spent the night in your room, which does not usually happen in platonic settings. If he were horrified by the thought of touching you, I think he'd stay OUT of your room. Remember though, that even if he IS into you physically, we don't know what his intentions are. Does he want to be your boyfriend? Does he just want someone to date every weekend? These are things to gauge. But for now...have fun!!
