whats a man supposed to do if his hair is greying?

 

If it suits him - work it.

 

If it doesn't - dye it. Professionally. Not at home, if possible.

 

It looks just fine on some dudes. Others no.

 

I wouldn't sweat it either way. It's the easiest thing in the world to take care of.

 

Oh, I should add: hair on a man, grey or not, looks a zillion times better if cut and styled by a pro. Not like a Cut 6 stylist. Women notice these things, even if other men can't tell the difference.

My impression is that if a man has grey hair short is preferable, like in the examples I mention in my question. Long, flowing grey hair I think looks worse.

 

Also, I suppose that dying has to be done professionally and carefully maintained to look good.

 

However I mentioned dying at the place I go to have my, completely grey, hair cut and this 19 year old girl who works there screamed "NO NO! All the girls I know love grey hair!"

 

As a guy, I agree with you. I think grey hair short is better than grey hair long where you end up with a bit of the wizard look or like Billy Connolly. For me I'd take premature grey hair over going bald. I think hair loss will beat me going grey if my father is the yardstick, though not with my uncles. If I started to go grey I'd give dye a shot for a while.

As for 19 yr old saying..'All the girls I know love grey hair', who is she thinking of? Does she think Ryan Gosling hair color is grey?
