Cheers, that means so much to me Live in the knowledge that you did all you could, if he was talking about all this marriage etc. but wasn't mature enough to be honest with you, then what could you have done? That 5 year thing is absurd, do you honestly think he's going to change? You don't need to be hanging on this long for someone like this.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation..

 

I just wanted to comment on how strong you sound.. You really sound like you've taken time to sit down and think about both sides of your relationship... You also give great advice - you said some things that I have thought about but didn't really want to face head on..

 

I guess it's just hard for us to accept that our ex's have any feelings regarding the break-up when you consider how they chose to handle things..

For the record, it kind of happened to me too. I had a boyfriend just out of the blue dump me...but he was never ever rude.

 

So they only way I could understand this, is if I continuously begged him to come back to me...which I didn't. I always said that if someone breaks up with me, I'm never going back to them, because how can I trust that they won't do it again????

Anyway, I'm minding my own damn business now, staying away, trying to 'move-on' with my life and well out of the blue she IMs my phone: She was asking me for something she had lost and was wondering if i had it. WTF!?!?!? The last thing she F-ing said was there's nothing i could say or do to change her mind... and now she comes around asking me for one of her things that she has lost? What's up with this person? And not only that, her tone is timid when I CALL (NOT IMed... CALLED BECAUSE I HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR A HUMAN BEING THAN SHE DOES) her, like she knows she's doing something wrong? And then she goes off and asks me if I'm sure about my not having the thing she's looking for? WTF!!! And on top of that, i'm nice enough to ask her 'is there any other reason why you called?' in the most diplomatic of tones only for her to reply '........no.' to which i say 'are you sure?' and she turns around with '.......... yeah.' WTF!??!!?! Luckily I bailed out ASAP right there and then and said 'okay.. well... goodbye' CLICK!

 

I had not spoken to her in over 2 weeks......I don't get it.... this person rips my heart out... f-ing tells me that i'm not all i was cut out to be (freaking 6 years of it).... tells me that i have my hands tied behind my back there's nothing i can do... and then comes around to ask me for this THING and on top of that QUESTIONS whether or not i'm telling her the truth? Could it have been that she missed me and was using it as an excuse to hear my f-ing voice??? could it have been that she really did need what she was looking for and the added bonus was to hear my voice???? she's crazy... literally... out of her f-ing mind. gosh... so much BS! all because of her immaturity.
