tizmos Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 It's been about 2 weeks since my ex broke up with me and almost a week since i've talked to her. A couple of nights ago, I emailed my other ex from high school (she was the first love, first long term relationship, lost my virginity to her) and she emailed me back last night. For some reason, it felt really good to hear from her. We've half-assly kept in touch over the years (mainly because she was engaged and i was still a little hurt, even though I shouldn't have been). But her wedding was called off recently and she moved back home. So I intially emailed her to talk because i get the feeling we may be going through the same thing....was this dumb?
honey2005 Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Just becareful you don't start a rebound relationship, because you both might be hurt and looking for love.
dub03 Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Dude... Big mistake. That has trouble written all over it. Rebounds with an old ex are always trouble. When I was dating my ex girlfriend I was continually talking to the ex I had before her. Now that my girl and I have split, I realized the best thing to do was to cut off contact with all of my ex's. Its so easy to end up in an ex's arms after a brake, and it always turns out to be a mistake... Good luck and be careful
