tori0001 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 A couple of days ago I made a thread about auto correct on Smart Phones. I had sent a text to G meaning ttyl, it he recieved Tyler instead. Well today he texted me ttyl. It wouldn't be a big deal if he had been using that all along, he always spelled out the whole talk to you later. I think he put ttl in his phone, dropped the y to see if he got Tyler. I can't believe he didn't trust me enough to believe me. I mean we just spent the 2 most amazing days together, but him being insecure I find bothersome. He doesn't trust me. Maybe he is using ttyl on his own, but it seems odd after my text goof. I just want him to trust.

In my opinion you should let it go ....its not going to do any good you questioning whether he checked up on you or doesnt trust you over one gaff of a text message.......if you have just spent two days together i think trust comes and will come, a little further down the track.....best wishes.....deb

Anyway, I understand your line of overthinking because I do it, but you need to get a grip. Your insecurity and overthinking are just going to eat you alive.

Saying it filled in tyler sounded a little far fetched, that's why he checked. Not because he's "insecure". To my surprise it does put tyler. TBS trust is earned, not given. Put yourself in his shoes. What if you got ttl tiff? You'd be checkin your phone faster than the speed of light! 1

This really is an issue that can be resolved easily, just give him a real-life demonstration on your phone, problem solved.
