Alright, I'm 19 and starting in January I will be getting braces. Now I'm happy that I'm finally going to be able to afford braces but In April my boyfriend and I finally made semi-ish plans to meet in Apirl for the first time (We have been in a LDR for 1.5 years, 2 years in march). I am really scared that the braces will make me look stupid and my boyfriend won't want to kiss me or other things ;) becuse of them He has told me time and time again that he doesn't care about the braces that he thinks i'm pretty with or without them but I still feel like I am going to look weird or not very pretty. So I guess my question is, Would you still want to kiss/other things iwht your SO if they had Braces?

These days those invisilign braces cost just the same as the metal ones, why not try those instead? You can take them out when you want to get frisky :)

Having said that, I don't think it would be an issue for me, it would take some getting used to though, I've never kissed a guy with braces before.

I talked about doing that but my dentist said those wouldn't work well for me. I have to have one of my wisdom teeth moved forward a whole space.

That sucks. My dentist told me I'll be okay with the invisalign, so I'm just waiting until next fall when I'm school full time to hopefully get some of it paid by the dental insurance the school offers.

I don't think you should be anxious though. He says he doesn't care either way, which is very sweet :) If that's your avatar, you're a very pretty girl, no worries!

With braces, just don't expect the same kind of romantic proposal that Amy Frankel got from Isaac Lamb! :)

OP, relax, as long as everything down there is good to go then there won't be a problem. I think I speak for all of us when I say that I'd live if I don't get some head before the real fun begins.

don't worry lady. I had braces and it doesn't affect kissing at all. And if your boyfriend has been with you for this long he's not going to care about some metal in your mouth. He's already said he doesn't care! Relax!
