The words mean nothing.

 

As hard as it sometimes is to read, I do appreciate your bluntness. This is a lesson I'm going to carry with me. Even if the words are feelings fully felt or things truly desired, ultimately they don't mean jack if they can't be acted on.

At the time MM said those words he was feeling it. He was likely overcome with emotion. But, the words are said within the bubble of the affair. So the words are true within the compartment of the affair. I don't think he was lying to you when he said it.

That is quite true. In the end the OW was simply the person that was available at the right moment.

 

Sometimes, especially when young, people end up with a marriage with someone just because the person was available at the right moment. People are lazy and comfortable, and many times extend a R way past its expiration date. It's true of Rs in general, not just As.

I agree!

 

But, I believe many affair relationships show the concept of being at the right p[lace at the right time. This is actually much more romantic than a more cold blooded search approach used by single folks in search of a mate.
