LifeIsGreat Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 I'm a middle-aged guy who is very interested in having a good LTR. Have been seeing someone for about 6 months, but it seems we have more conflict then should be 'normal'. But frankly, I have no idea what a normal amount of conflict in a relationship is. We have so much in common, have lots of fun together, and have grown to love each other. Just seems like there is a couple areas that continue to sour things. So, at what point do you move on and let the relationship go?
mammasita Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 My question is what kind of conflict? Can you compromise? Are either of you being stubborn or unreasonable?
River Rain Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 I'm big on conflict resolution and communication, so if these arguments, fights or disagreements continued, I'd try my best to sit down, talk and try to resolve them. If after trying my best to make peace, and keep the peace, the conflict continued, I'd bail.
InJest Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 "At what point do you call it quits with SO?" Generally, when you've sought out an internet forum to ask when it's okay to call it, it's time to call it.
