sanejan Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Here is my story, got married 4 years ago and no kids. Now applied for divorce due to irreconcilable difference . We have taken care of all that needs to be separated ourselves. I am not seeking financial nor does she. Its a very simple case and no child or financial complication. The court has asked us to appear for a case management in 2 weeks. She is so busy and tells me that she wont appear for the case management order. Any predication as to what will happen ? I just want this over with like yesterday! thanks for your suggestions !
carhill Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 If you're pro se, call the court clerk and advise them of the issue. As you don't relate what jurisdiction, it's really hard to offer any cogent advice other than to contact your court and request assistance. Welcome to LS
Author sanejan Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Thanks! We live in Kentucky if that helps. The thing is we have no financial or complication with children. I am hoping the judge will end it asap. Will she be punished for contempt of court, if she does not show up or would she be asked to appear at a future date?
