The other day was my b-day & on fb every body sees it that's on your friends list so this girl sent me a cute happy b-day message & I wrote her back & we got to chatting right. Anyways she asked me what I was doing for my b-day & I said nothing yet & then she said how about meeting at a bowling alley with some friends of hers so I was like wow ok . We exchange numbers & we text the whole night of the meet. I tried to call her a few times just to see how good she gonna sound but she dont answer the phone only texts. When I get to the bowling alley she's not there & I stand around waiting but she says she's there but I dont never see her so I leave but she keeps texting me saying that she's here & stuff. I looked over the whole place and nope not there . I go home & she sends me bad texts & stuff saying that I stood her up but how could I when I was there & she not?! My friend says its probably a prank 'cause I dont know who she really is & stuff. Her pics look kinda cute & she has 2 mutual friends on fb so I dont know what to do right now .

"I'm at lane 7" Yup tried calling & no answer so I went back to texting again & thats when she answers me. I told her I was by the entryway & stuff & she kept saying I'm by the bowling lane but I never saw anyone looking like her. I felt so so embarrassed about this 'cause people kept looking at me like a weirdo & I'm so upset 'cause I cant find her so I feel like she pranked me but she keeps saying that I stood her up .

Plan a date, text her at the time you're supposed to be there and say "10 minutes, running late." Then in 10 minutes, text again "parking the car." then 10 minutes later "April-Fools." Or to be sitting at the table "April-fools, You're stood up!" and then give her about 2-3 minutes of boiling before you walkover and reveal the amazing joke prior to ever meeting I kill me. Now I know never to agree to a date on April Fools from anyone. lol

You deserved to be stood up for being stupid enough to meet someone without talking them on the phone. You did it to yourself 1

You did it to yourself I wouldn't say you deserved it, but I agree with this. I gather you saw her FB profile beforehand but she is just some random pretty who contacts single guys on their birthday? She cannot answer the phone + cant meet in specific spot like shoe counter, I bet there's lots of guys that get stooged with this.

Exactly, and I was stood up the same way when I met someone with only talking through email. And yes I deserved it too.

Are you sure you went to the correct bowling alley? Just seems odd to me that she insisted she was there.

The OP was duped, plain and simple because he's crazily desperate for female companionship that he can no longer think clearly. This is evidence of it because there were red flags popping up everywhere in the information that he's given us, but of course, he failed to heed it as usual.

There were a few people but def. not him. We texted and called and he claimed that he IS there and I am not. I checked the bar name, yep the right bar. So did he - WTF. It turned out that there are two bars, in the close proximity with a same name. It was not a known chain or anything.

I went to tell my uncle about it but he didn't even say anything so I went to tell one of my friends that lives on my block & he says the girl played me for a fool & that I need to find other things to do & not chase girls all the time. I just wish to get a job soon so I can stay busy with that alot u know.
