I had this absolute weirdo on the train try to feel me up on the train and kept breathing heavy. I got off ASAP so I wouldn't be stalked by a creep.

So, how did he try to feel you up? Like did he reach for your breasts slowly making pinching motions while he breathed loudly making it easy for you to dodge the groping? If he was going to stalk you wouldn't he just chase after you?

Also what makes you so sure this guy didn't have a gf? Maybe she was on the train and was turned on?

I'm betting it was an asthmatic tapping your shoulder to ask you for directions. Who's with me?

Yes, but why can't guys get their own gf's?

Because they touch themselves at night.

Aha a joke answer for my joke recitation of the title of this dialogue.

He was by himself not with a girl at all. I was on the window side and he was in the other. I had asthma as a kid and this didn't sound like asthma at all. He was rubbing his arms along his legs so they were touching mine. I tried to move but each time moved right into my personal space..This guy was groaning like when you make out with someone. It really sounded like he was going to orgasm.

In my peripheral vision I could see him starring at me also. I started reading an article about Nazis and the KKK. Not even that put him off.

There's been posters about stalking at my closest station. From sliced cases recently. They don't have to case you to stalk you. I felt really uncomfortable thus guy could've sat anywhere. If this guy wasn't a creep, then why didn't he chat me up like a normal person? Instead of trying to rub my legs without even asking me out? That's what a normal person would've done.

You are mad that a "creep" didn't ask you out?

I know the difference between asthma and a guy trying to get off. This guy wasn't just tapping his legs. He was viciously rubbing them.

Not at all I have a boyfriend and I'm happy. I've been cheated on and wouldn't want to put anyone through that. I'm only sorry I didn't through up on this guy.

Whats wrong with reading an article about Nazis or the KKK isn't that stuff on History channel all the time? Do you mean you were reading a howto guide on that Politically Incorrect stuff and he was a minority of some sort so should have been turned off?

Next time start reading a guide on how to go from being a man to a woman. Or read "living with AIDS." I mean it will have a better chance of working.

Throwing up on a guy who viciously rubs your legs would be cheating on your "bf."

911 whats your emergency?

A guy sitting next to me was creepy I left the train right away so he couldn't stalk me. He sat next to me and was breathing really hard, he was moving his arms on his legs and they rubbed against me. WHY CAN'T GUYS GET THEIR OWN GF'S?

This isn't funny. This is sick behaviour. I would have called the cops. Not kidding.

I find it appalling that people are making fun of someone who was sexually assaulted on a train, as if this creepy freak was exhibiting normal behaviour.

That is no way to talk about the poster. Sure it's a little crude to title the thread "why can't guys get their own gf's" and yes politically incorrect to start reading about the KKK and Nazi's on a public train but surely we can't have the OP arrested. haha you see what I did there?

In all seriousness sitting next to some one on a train and having your arms rub against them isn't a crime. Neither is breathing loudly, talking, or farting.

I find it appalling that you would call a man a creepy freak. How daaare youuu

Maybe this is normal course behaviour for some which is why it's considered acceptable. Thank goodness I don't live in this type of environment where it's perfectly natural to sexually assault women on the train.

This s&%# happens all the time, and the reactions in this thread are precisely why the people I know who have had it happen to them never talk about it. Protip - don't wear a skirt on public transportation during rush hour.

What's wrong with people? Seriously messed in the head.

Just for my satisfaction please tell me what happened when you wore a skirt during rush hour? Did you get a protip!

You know what also happens all the time? Girls calling guys creeps. Happens all the time.

Yep, messed in the head, but they know they can get away with it. It's just like snatching someone's purse/wallet/camera right before the subway doors close and bolting out before anyone can catch you. They know they're probably not going to get caught, and even if the victim calls the cops, you're already long gone.

What disturbs me most about the dismissiveness is how people internalize it. IME, women often feel guilty after the fact for having felt creeped out or threatened because, hey, nothing actually happened, did it? I felt that way after an incident at work (I was all alone in the building when it happened). My boss made me report it to the cops, and when I recounted what happened to them, I felt like an idiot for wasting their time, even though they took it seriously.
