FitChick
These women are great examples of making an effort to look good regardless of age. Compare them to younger women or women of similar age who can't be bothered. It's why you can't make blanket statements about "___ years of age is the deadline for looking good." Unless you are a man who never dates, of course. In which case you don't know any better. And don't give me crap about botox, filler, surgery, etc. Who cares how they got that way as long as it's a great end result that turns their men on? I have yet to meet a man who doesn't want to be seen with a good looking woman whether he's married to her or not.

Imported
These women are great examples of making an effort to look good regardless of age. . I think many of them...remove the 10lbs of make-up on their face and it'd be a different story. It is funny how foundation doesn't age. Although I can agree, appearance is more important than age. Still though, you'll get to a point when there is not much you can do about. Especially if you don't have an unlimited budget to pay for cosmetic surgeries.
Ruby Slippers
I brought up the age difference to my boyfriend a while back. He's 31 and I'm 36. He said, "You're fit and you look good." Once I fully accepted how important looks are to men (and people in general), and started making the effort and working with what I've got, my dating life got way better.

Hawakai
They look good for their age? Exactly how? They spend countless amounts of cash on operations, their movies and pictures are photoshopped, they have the greatest designers following them around, and they cake their faces with make-up. Maybe we spend our time in different cities, but even the most average of young women is far more attractive than any of those high-powered hollywood grandmas. Yes, Madonna is sleeping with a 20-something guy. So is J-Lo. So what? Its funny how college girls have this much sexual power but only truly understand how powerful female beauty can be, when they're in their 50's and trying to convince themselves and men that they look good. That they're more good-looking that 20-something women that aren't to be bothered with looking good(why should someone who is already good-looking care about it?). They're rich. Very much so. But I wouldn't sleep with them. And I don't know of any guy my age or younger interested in older women. Nor do I know older men interested in women their own age. The good-looking blokes are sleeping with late teens models and the average guys are sleeping with 20 year old high-end escorts. So tell them you are ten years younger. If you look as good as these women, he'll believe it. I'm sure you'd appreciate if a guy was to tell you a lie to get you in his bed. Its just a little covering up, right? LOL. Different story if a man wants a breeder. Then biology is important to an extent although there is always IVF and surrogates. Nope. Men are attracted to young women because with youth comes great beauty. The later a woman is past breeding age the more masculine and uglier she becomes. I'm told all the time by 50 year old men and above how they hate having sex with their wives because their wives bodies is not as firm and as tight as it was when they were young, that their vaginae no longer lubricates as quick as it did when the women were 20 years old, and how much they regret marrying their wives. Had they known their wives would turn out looking like their mothers they would have stayed single, so they tell me. I know of guys in their 40's who had a vasectomy done and they don't date women their own age. They only go as far as 25 years(in a woman). Men who can pick the best are going to pick the best. They aren't going to suddenly want middle-aged women just because its ''unfair'' for older women to be now invisible. Edited November 6, 2012 by Hawakai

How's life in the Ozarks? I'm told all the time by 50 year old women and above how they hate having sex with their husbands because their husbands' bodies [are] not as firm and as tight as when [they were] young, that their dicks can't get hard as [they] did when the men were 20 years old, and how much they regret marrying their husbands. Had they known their husbands would turn out looking like their mothers (!) they would have stayed single. Hence, the start of the cougar phenomena!

I'm dating a hot, smart, successful guy with a ready-to-rumble bod who's 5 years younger than me. One of my best friends is 40, dating a 26-year-old guy who adores her and cooks her breakfast every morning she wakes up with him. My sister is in her 50s and married to a significantly younger and very sexy guy who treasures her. And yeah, all three of us take good care of ourselves, eat well, exercise, and are young at heart. Men think women get pissy about men dating younger women. But some men just seethe with rage when women date younger men!

Unless you are a man who never dates, of course. In which case you don't know any better. It's funny that you would start a thread with a premise, then immediately say "and anybody who disagrees with me is clueless and can't land a date." Sometimes it's better to have the patience and self-discipline to let the fight come to you. Nevertheless, I agree with you that I'd much rather date/marry/screw an older, more attractive woman than a younger, less attractive one. But that is, the overwhelming majority of the time, a false dichotomy. Are there exceptions? Absolutely - the women in your link are among them, and you and I strive to be among them. Let's keep at our healthy lifestyles and upkeep regimens, but let's not pretend that we should completely ignore someone's age when assessing their attractiveness.

Gwyneth Paltrow is about my age, and I think I look just as good as her "for our age". (not that I am as beautiful as her...just that we look about the same age)

Age is what makes it harder to maintain a great appearance that can rival the young folks. This is why people resort to unnatural method in the first place. Plus unnatural methods dont give you the same look and feel natural hard work does. Thems the breaks. PS - lets not ignore the makeup and photo touch ups either. In real life Im sure people could see the affects age and lifestyle has on everyones appearance. Such is life. They look good for their age? Exactly how? Lmao, youre saying all this when in reality the VAST VAST majority of women wont touch a guy much older than them (over 10 years). So good luck to the grandpas trying to screw women my age. It aint happening. Middle aged body cant compete with mine, and believe you me, women in their 20s want a sexy guy as much as guys want a sexy girl. He turned 25 in June, and I'm in my 30s. He's so hot! And smart, nice, etc. I'm completely in love. My older sisters are also married to younger men, although just five and two years younger (than the sisters), respectively. Yeah, if you take care of yourself and stay thin, you can look young for a long time. As soon as I finish this post, I'm going for a 6 mile run. I've exercised since I was 16. I wouldn't say I look 16, lol, but I've lingered in looking in my mid 20s (24 to 27 or so) for a long time. And yeah, one of my friends is 38 and married to a guy who's 26. They just bought a house. I like dating a younger guy.

fortyninethousand322
Do you mean the other way around? Never. Jane2011
Also, appearance is more important to me than age in general. Last year, the guy I dated was 35. The one I'm with now is 25. The 35 year old and the 25 year-old look about the same age (both of them generally young-looking and fit). I don't care how old either one of them is; I just liked that they were both fit and good-looking.
