why dont they ever tell us that getting used to your bf's or gf's fam is hard?

I suppose times are rougher now that he is living at home with his fam because he does not yet have a job from graduating college.

Him being at home has really made talking or seeing his fam a regular thing- something I have not had for the past year. it is quite a change and it isnt easy. Mixing of opinions everywhere. We cannot have an argument or convo without me feeling they will comment on it because their house is so small, they can hear everything.

How do you negotiate what impact eachother's families will have on your relationship?

If your bf doesnt like how your brother treats you...should you listen to them and respond? What if i am so loyal to my family and respect them even though they walk all over me? treat me a liek a child ? yet i do nothing about it? just move on happy go lucky?

college graduate and can't get a job. i never went to college and i make over 60k a year and i'm only 20. maybe he should try harder to get a job so you two can live on your own. do you have a job?
